Theresa A. Silver/ Interim Executive Director
Theresa began as the Interim Executive Director July 1, 2018. She has over 20 years experience in administrative management, including human resources, accounting, legal, and project management with a lifelong love of the performing arts. Theresa is responsible for overseeing RRT’s operational and artistic direction.
Samantha Burris / Education Director & Programs/Box Office Manager
Sam joined the Ragland staff in 2015 after spending several years as a Youth StARTS artist, choreographer and camp counselor for the Ragland Summer Youth Camp. Sam has over 20 years’ experience in dance and theater. You will see Sam’s smiling face when you order or pick-up tickets or if you need help navigating any of our extensive youth programming.
Deborah Jones / Programs Coordinator & Office Manager
Deborah joined the Ragland staff in 2013. As Programs Coordinator & Office Manager for RRT her primary responsibility is to coordinate a smooth transition from the planning phase of events and rentals to the production and follow up.
Christy Ruegger / Facility & House Manager
Christy has worked in almost every aspect of the performing arts over the past 22 years. As the Facility and House Manager for the RRT her responsibilities include the operation of the physical plant, safety, permits and logistics. You will also see Christy organizing the front of house to ensure audiences have a safe and enjoyable time.
Bonnie Sims / Office Assistant & Guild Liaison
Bonnie started as a volunteer at the Theater in September of 2003. In November of 2004 she was offered a part-time position as Office Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator. Bonnie can be seen doing a little bit of everything around the RRT.
Steve Ayola / Technical Director
Steve has been involved with performing arts as a performer since the early 1960’s; and has been the theater’s Technical Director since 1990. He is responsible for maintaining the theater’s stage and technical systems and planning for technical needs of all stage events.
Phyllis Faries / Technical Assistant
Phyllis has been a member of our seasonal staff and crew for many years, but she is excited to officially be an employee of the Ross Ragland. As Steve’s second-in-command, Phyllis is incredibly talented, adaptable and very good under pressure! When not designing lights and sound, you can hear her smooth voice on the radio at Sunny 107 and The Eagle!
